The objective of the project was to increase the technological readiness of TAGnology d.o.o. for the development of an innovative solution — Wireless Charging 4.0 — a system that enables remote transmission of electrical energy via high-frequency radio waves over a distance greater than one centimetre. As part of the project implementation, a functional prototype was developed to demonstrate the technical feasibility of the concept, and a commercialization plan was created with the goal of entering both domestic and international markets. The project contributes to strengthening research and development capacities and positions TAGnology d.o.o. as a leader in the field of advanced ICT and energy technologies.
TAGnology d.o.o. successfully carried out a research and development project for the innovative Wireless Charging 4.0 system, which enables wireless powering of devices without physical contact and without the need for battery replacement. The project addresses a number of challenges related to cabling, maintenance, and the limited autonomy of electronic devices.
The developed technology has broad application in smart home systems, municipal infrastructure, the medical and food industries, and electric vehicles. The project confirmed the market need and competitive potential of the innovation, opening up opportunities for global commercialization.
