Application
In the practical application and implementation example of the city of Augsburg and its transformation and permanent further development of the system, a large number of real-time transmissions are already possible today.
In the Smart City Augsburg, the monitoring of the power grid for current, voltage, power and quality was fully automated according to EN 50160.
Any meter readings and abnormalities such as leaks or backflows are automatically detected.
City properties can be remotely monitored and, if necessary, controlled for room temperature, humidity, CO² levels, parking situation and virtually any other measurable value.
The biggest advantage of the system is that it can be flexibly adapted to new needs and extensions at comparatively low costs and can be continuously developed further if necessary.
Structure of the system
Since our Smart City system is modular, it can be deployed in virtually any area or city without any special requirements; additional modules at certain facilities can be added at any time and connected to the central system.
The system develops, so to speak, along with the facilities and expansions of a city.
